90 Year Old Kenyan Woman Goes Back To School To Inspire Great-Great-Grandchildren and Others

90 year old Priscilla Sitienei has been attending Leaders Vision Preparatory School in her village of Ndalat, Kenya for the past five years, learning to read and write.

Her classmates, all within the ages of 11 to 14, include six of her great-great-grandchildren, one of whom is her roommate on campus. In a recent interview with the BBC, Sitienei told the network that her ultimate goal is to inspire some of the teens of Africa, many of whom drop out of school and have children to go back to school and get their education. She also says at the top of her list is being able to read the Bible.

After working in her village as a midwife for the past few decades, her days now consist of math, English, PE, drama, dance and singing.

It’s never too late to learn and improve yourself.
