Chance the Rapper Makes History As First Unsigned Rapper to Perform on SNL

Last weekend, while performing my weekly old lady ritual of staying in on a Saturday night to watch SNL in bed, I was lucky enough to watch Chicago’s own Chance the Rapper not only perform two dope songs during the show, but watch history be made, as he became the first unsigned rapper to perform on the prestigious and long running comedy show.

Missed out on it because you were out being cool and turning up? Check out both performances below. Oh…and while you’re reading this,he just helped raise $25,000 for Chicago’s non-profit, Warmest Winter 2016, to buy coats for the homeless of Chicago. And those Chicago winters are RUTHLESS, so those coats are much needed.
