Keke Palmer To Be Broadway’s First Black Cinderella!

Congratulations are in order to Keke Palmer. The former spelling bee wiz in Akeelah and the Bee has just made history, becoming the first African American actress to star on Broadway as Cinderella.

She will be stepping into the lead role of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella” acting in eight shows a week starting September 9th at the Broadway Theatre.

At just 20 years of age, this is a HUGE accomplishment for Palmer, who also recently became the host of her very own talk show, Just Keke, on BET. This was another major moment for her as she became the youngest host with a show EVER.

2014 has Keke winning and at such a young age, we know she’s only just getting started. We are sure she’s a media mogul in the making.

Congrats Keke!
