Earlier yesterday, a suicide bomber, under the instructions of Nigerian terrorist goup, Boko Haram, set off explosives during a high school ceremony at around 7:30 am, injuring hundreds and leaving 48 young students between the ages of 12 and 20 dead.
Around 2,000 students were preparing to hear from their principal at the Government Technical Science College when the deafening loud bomb went off and chaos ensued. The local hospital is so overwhelmed now that patients are being treated while having to SHARE BEDS.
Many are blaming the government, which should be taking greater precautions to protect its citizens and youths, such as taking greater security measures to keep danger away from schools.
The death toll is expected to rise over the next few days. Innocent lives senselessly taken. Our prayers go out to those affected by this tragedy.
