Rihanna Becomes Puma’s Newest Brand Ambassador & Creative Director

This past Tuesday, the reigning Queen of Pop and my best friend in my head, Rihanna added another notch to her belt while in Germany.

No she’s not touring, she was there to sign her deal making her the new global brand ambassador and Creative Director of Women’s Training Clothing/Shoes for Puma.

She may just be 26 years old, but her effortless yet always flawless looks that millions of women (let’s be honest…and men) rush to emulate clearly shows she knows a thing or two about fashion and style.

Puma has been somewhat lagging in the sportswear field as big hitters Nike and Adidas tend to dominate and continuously reinvent themselves to stay ahead the curve. Yet Puma is not going down without a fight and hopes that Riri and her navy (along with Solange, who is also a global brand ambassador) can help them re-vamp their brand.

In all honesty, Rihanna may be the only individual capable of getting me to place Puma’s on my feet willingly and pay for them for that matter, so I am excited to see what she can come up with for their gear.
