The Game Recruits His Star Friends for Michael Brown Tribute, “Don’t Shoot”

The Game is another artist that has felt compelled to act on the recent tragedies and unrest that had plagued Ferguson, Missouri, as well as many other parts of our country.

The West Coast rapper has swiped through seemingly every big name in his phone to get the likes of Rick Ross, Fabolous, 2 Chainz, DJ Khaled, Wale, Problem TGT (Tank, Ginuwine, Tyrese…not sure whose T is whose), Curren$y, Swizz Beatz and Yo Gotti for a new Mike Brown tribute, aptly entitled, “Don’t Shoot”. The record was produced by Isabella Summers and Luney Tunez.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Game spoke on how the recent issues have really hit home for him and compelled him to address them. As a family man with two young children of his own, he feels shaken to the core and felt the need to unite with other top MCs against these injustices.

It’s great to see our people really coming together; we need more music like this. And the beat and lyrics are actually DOPE.
