Want to Be Happy? Work Here

happy jobsRecent surveys among millenials show that at the top of the list of job requirements is a desire to be happy and perform work that is pleasant, satisfying and meaningful. In the spirit of this, CareerBliss, a national site for up to date job and employer information, compiled a list of the 10 companies where young employees are most happy. This ranking was based on questionnaire responses from over 230,000 employees with less than 10 years of experience in a full-time position.

A list of the top 10 companies can be found below. Each score is based on a scale of 1 to 5. As you can see, salary was not the deciding factor in many of these scores, which goes to show that other aspects, such as work-life balance and room for growth can be equally if not even more important in being happy at work.
